Abstract: ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems are integrated platforms designed to unify and manage a company's internal processes within a single technological structure, centralizing data and facilitating real-time access. This centralization allows crucial information to be shared across departments, promoting greater efficiency, agility in decision-making, and a cohesive workflow. ERP is designed to enhance resource management, automate processes, and standardize operations—fundamental aspects for addressing the competitiveness and complexity of the modern business environment. This study aims to analyze the impact of ERP system implementation on organizational management, highlighting its benefits and challenges. Through a qualitative literature review, the research investigates how the adoption of ERPs can optimize performance and the company’s responsiveness to market changes. The findings indicate that, despite challenges such as high costs and the need for organizational adaptation, the advantages include greater process control, error reduction, and more effective communication between departments. It is concluded that, with appropriate strategic planning and internal support, ERP implementation can become a pillar for innovation and sustainable growth, providing companies with a crucial competitive advantage in an ever-evolving market.
