Abstract: Addressing the climate emergency requires educational strategies that combine science, culture, and memory in dialogue with different learning spaces, especially non-formal education spaces. In this context, museums have established themselves as relevant environments for science education by integrating historical, cultural, and socio-environmental dimensions into interdisciplinary practices aimed at raising awareness and critical reflection. This article presents qualitative, descriptive-interpretative research developed from an educational mediation activity carried out in December 2025 with 9th-grade students from a municipal public school in Manaus, Amazonas, at the Manaus City Museum. The objective was to analyze an educational mediation experience that linked curricular content to discussions about climate change, highlighting the importance of the Amazon for climate balance on a national and global scale. The methodology involved participant observation and reflective journaling by the researcher-mediator, based on references from Science Education, critical Environmental Education, and museum learning. The pedagogical script addressed concepts such as the hydrological cycle, Amazonian evapotranspiration, the greenhouse effect, and climate change. The results showed high student engagement, articulation between school and museum knowledge, and the emergence of reflections on collective responsibility and interdependence between society and nature. It is concluded that the Manaus City Museum constitutes a strategic educational territory in the face of the climate emergency, reinforcing the relevance of partnerships between museums and schools.
