Abstract: This chapter's proposal brings together an analysis of the tale "Little Blue Riding Hood" focusing on some considerations that may arise in children's imaginations when reading the narrative. These elements resulting from the analysis are intertwined with Historical-Cultural Psychology from a Vygotskian perspective, considering the thematization of language present in this reference. In light of this conception, we align the analysis with the field of study called Geography of Childhood, which represents the considerable involvement of children in their spatial, territorial, and semantic environment present in this category of research. As a result of this movement, we highlight how we were able to understand the role of the adult reader in mediating and participating in the reading and attribution of meaning to the child reader. It is necessary to allow children to believe in and experience new stories with different endings based on classics of children's literature.
