Abstract: This study highlights the importance of training and research linkage in the training of nurses, crucial elements to develop professionals capable of facing current challenges in the field of health. Objective: To analyze the importance of training and research linkage in the context of the Nursing career, demonstrating how these modalities, integrated with teaching, contribute to the development of professionals of excellence. Methodology: This study is based on an exhaustive systemic review of the academic literature, registered in indexed journals. Discussion: The training link integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical practice through real scenarios and simulations, seeking the development of comprehensive competencies such as critical thinking and professional ethics. Research linkage, on the other hand, encourages research to generate new knowledge and improve clinical practice, promoting research skills in students. Conclusion: Teaching plays a fundamental role in this process, with teachers guiding students and using active methodologies to connect theory with practice. Comprehensive nursing education, which includes these linkages, is essential to address challenges such as population aging, chronic diseases, and the integration of technology into health.
